Regulation on digital operational resilience for the financial sector - publication in the Official Journal

The Regulation on digital operational resilience for the financial sector (DORA) has now been published in the Official Journal. Under this new framework, all financial firms will need to have the necessary safeguards in place to mitigate cyber attacks and other risks to their digital resilience. DORA also addresses the risks related to large technology providers that offer ICT services – such as cloud computing – to financial firms. For the first time, these third party providers will be subject to EU level oversight.
